About the game:
Become the protector of the forest – or a villainess whose name inspires terror. BLACKTAIL tells the origin story of Baba Yaga, and what this legend will become depends only on you. You will master archery, learn to wield magic, and uncover the dark secrets of a vibrant fairy-tale world inspired by Slavic mythology.
The story is told from the perspective of Yaga – a sixteen-year-old girl who was accused of witchcraft and driven out of her native village. Your living memories have returned in the form of vile spirits, and now you must catch them to shed light on your own past.
- The fate of the forest depends on your decisions, and thanks to the morality system, every choice you make affects your skills.
- With the help of your trusty bow and magical gauntlet, you will have to catch up with cunning spirits and defeat mighty forest monsters.
- You will need to craft arrows, brew potions, hunt wild animals, and gather supplies necessary for survival in the wild thicket.
- Treasures hidden everywhere hold knowledge about this world and its inhabitants.
- Using the recipes you find, you can prepare elixirs that will allow you to improve your abilities and shape your own playstyle.
