About the game:
Deep Despair is a retro-style sandbox dedicated to survival. The game repeats many mechanics of the notorious Minecraft, but most of them have been reimagined for realism and plausibility. The game world is divided into 4 levels: the upper world, caves, caves with rivers, and caves with lava. Each level has a descent to the next one. Descending down, you can find and mine more valuable resources. Abandoned mines can also be found in the dungeons. Traveling around the world, you can mine various resources needed for crafting and survival. Dynamic day and night cycle is implemented. For an underdeveloped character, night becomes a serious challenge, so it is recommended to spend it in a house that needs to be built in time. A campfire, food, weapons, and shelter are all you need for successful survival. You can freely explore the whole world and plan your actions in any order. Travel, collect resources, create items, dig, build, grow crops, and survive. All in the best traditions of Minecraft! Features:

Game mechanics:
• Wood harvesting
To obtain wood, you need to chop down a tree, place the fallen logs on the ground, and chop them again with an axe. Then several units of wood suitable for crafting will drop.
• Campfires
A campfire is necessary for frying meat and potatoes. It is assembled from brushwood and lit with flint. To fry food, you need to put raw meat into the fire, wait for the desired state, and remove it when the meat is ready. The state can be tracked by the changed food icon. The campfire goes out over time, so it is necessary to throw in brushwood (branches). You can place a watering can or a bucket of water. It is destroyed by any tool, breaking into brushwood.
• Growing crops
You can grow wheat and potatoes in the game. Wheat seeds can be obtained from tall grass or by interacting with a grass block using a hoe. When digging up soil, potatoes or fertilizer may drop with a low chance. They can also be found in chests in mines.
For planting, you need to loosen the soil with a hoe and stick in the seeds. Crops grow only on moist soil. It automatically becomes moist if there is water nearby. Otherwise, watering is done using a watering can filled with water. The soil dries out over time, so it needs to be watered periodically. Using fertilizer or bone meal in the soil increases crop growth by 2 times.
• Nutrition
A hunger system is implemented in the game, so the character needs to eat constantly. The following types of food are available: meat, potatoes, bread, and berries. Food has different saturation levels. Raw food reduces hunger but does not provide saturation, so it is recommended to eat it cooked.
Health restores automatically if the saturation level exceeds 80%. At a saturation level of 50% or lower, the character slows down, and with complete hunger, they lose health until death.
