Being a retelling of the story of Dante's coming of age, adapted to modern reality, DmC Devil May Cry™ has retained the stylish presentation, flexible combat system and self-assured protagonist that were defining features of this cult game series, while also bringing a touch of darkness and brutality.

Dante in DmC is a young man who recognizes no authority, nor society as a whole. Dante knows: he is not human, but neither is he one of the evil creatures that tormented him throughout his life. Caught between worlds, he feels like an outcast.

Thanks to his twin brother Vergil, the leader of the opposition group "The Order", Dante learns what it means to be the offspring of a demon and an angel. This split personality significantly affects the gameplay mechanics, giving Dante the ability to use the powers of both sides at any moment, transforming the Rebellion blade on the fly, which changes both combat and movement.

As co-authors of DmC, Capcom chose the British studio Ninja Theory, known as a developer of action games with compelling characters and storylines combined with the high quality of the material produced. • Survive in Limbo — the city of Limbo is a living being that longs to destroy Dante. The world will change before your very eyes and try to hinder or even destroy Dante. Our hero will have to master demonic powers in order to change the world of Limbo to his liking, while honing angelic skills to progress through this hostile twisted environment.
• Who is Dante? — investigate the story of Dante's coming of age in a new retelling, immersing yourself in an exciting plot featuring both completely new characters and old acquaintances, such as Vergil, Dante's twin brother.

  "Eryx" — powerful demonic gauntlets containing enough strength to parry attacks and juggle enemies of any weight.
