About the game:
Empyrion - Galactic Survival is an open-world space sandbox survival adventure. Create powerful ships, mighty space stations and vast planetary settlements to explore, conquer or exploit various planets and uncover the secrets of Empyrion! Fight humans, aliens, planetary and biological hazards and survive in a hostile galaxy full of hidden dangers. Play alone or join up with friends, make new acquaintances, create alliances or declare wars to conquer the solar system.
The game uniquely combines elements of space simulation, building, survival and 3D shooters. In Empyrion only you forge your destiny, in a galaxy full of limitless possibilities.
Space and Planet Exploration:
You will experience absolutely free movement: jumps between planets, flights from planets to moons, landings on planets and free exploration of the surroundings. Discover the secrets of various alien races, as well as native fauna and flora. A sandbox filled with different vibrant planets awaits you!
Solar System and Open World:The solar system is procedurally generated, with several planets and TIs (Points of Interest). Each planet has its own features (planet type, gravity, atmosphere, number of moons, landscape, surface, vegetation, climate, weather and resources).
Structures and Building:Build a large vessel, a small fighter, a powerful space station or a large planetary settlement - on your own or download blueprints from the Steam Workshop, filling them with your ideas and functionality!
Survival Mode:Leave your escape pod, take everything that is in it and get ready to survive in a hostile environment. Food and oxygen are scarce, resources are insufficient, ammunition is limited, biological hazards and weather conditions are trying to kill you, and even more dangers await you around every corner. Keep your eyes open. You must be smart and well prepared if you want to survive longer than one day on an alien planet far from Earth.
Creative Mode:Just build and bring all your crazy ideas to life without having to worry about food, resources or enemies. Join the Community and upload your creations to the Steam Workshop!
Single Player and MultiplayerPlay alone or join the online community: team up with friends, make new acquaintances, create alliances or declare wars. You can build yourself a comfortable home in a well-protected PvE area or face the constant dangers of PvP planets in search of their riches, or conquer the solar system with your faction. In addition, dozens of wonderful scenarios await you in the workshop!
Wildlife and Enemies:Do not be deceived by the peaceful wildlife of some planets and the silence in space. Most of the animal world would not mind snacking on your legs, and aggressive unmanned drones, alien soldiers and defenders will definitely try to track you down as soon as you catch their eye. Fight for your life and deploy long-range weapons against fierce and unknown alien creatures.
Mining and Resource Gathering:For building you need to mine and gather resources. Dig up a rich deposit on a planet or drill an asteroid full of rare ore. You can also loot alien structures or any other structures you find.
Advanced Crafting System:Learn how to combine resources and building materials to create your equipment. Create your items at your base or while you travel, equip your structures and vessels with various devices, weapons and gadgets for different purposes.
Hunting, Farming and Food System:Grow your own vegetables and fruits or hunt animals to cook delicious food. Some plants help create medical supplies, others can be immediately used for first aid or to fill your empty stomach a little.
Experience and Technologies:Do whatever you want and get experience points for it! Throw old junk into the trash and use the earned points to unlock these shiny new devices in Technologies.
Terrain Deformation:The terrain of each planet is built on voxel technology. You can completely change it as you wish: level it for your base, dig holes to reach resources or build an entire tunnel system for your defense. Empyrion is a true sandbox!
