About the game:
NOTE. The game requires Windows Vista or later, as well as a minimum resolution of 1920x1080. Windows 7 and some other users (depending on their graphics card and system configuration) may need to play the game with 96 DPI or 100% — Normal system fonts for the game to display correctly.
NOTE about the genre and who will enjoy this: first and foremost, this is a fast, light, casual “lunch break” macro-management strategy game. It is not Stellaris or GalCiv III, and was not meant to be. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. Thank you and enjoy!
Fantasy Kingdom Simulator will take you to a medieval kingdom where you rule as king of four villages, and your duty is to help them grow and become fully developed cities. You will make meaningful choices, important decisions and face consequences if you plan poorly.
These are living, breathing cities with agriculture, economy, births, deaths, morale and regents who govern them, each with their own set of 5 ratings to help you determine their worthy role, such as Honor, Military Skill and Intelligence. These villages manage themselves day to day, but your task is to intervene where necessary to lead them to prosperity and, eventually, independence at a population of 600 people.

- Never The Same: every game and world is randomly generated, presenting you with more and more new challenges each time. Simulator is not just called that as a gimmick or joke — the game uses a realistic city growth algorithm with natural ebbs, flows and birth/death patterns.
- Make decisions: cities can make requests, for example, ask for a temporary reprieve from tribute, loans to be repaid later, or food when needed. Beware: some are trustworthy and keep their word, and some are not! Visit cities and change their status and priorities if desired, for example, impose emergency taxes, give speeches to attract more residents, or perform other functions. Call elections for political impeachment of rulers who are not doing their job, or… use a more direct approach.
- Raise armies: purchase troops for each city to defend them from attacks by beasts or other cities. Hire special generals with unique abilities to join your rule, and send them on adventures to obtain artifacts for money or food to help feed your people.
- Full inheritance system: local city rulers have children, who then inherit the city's crown after their parents' death. Children's stats are generated separately, so they may not match their parents' stats.
- Events and more: deal with hundreds of random events, epidemics and droughts, build structures that affect various aspects of your kingdom, make decisions at key moments through customizable interludes with options, and influence the growth of your empire.
