Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is a next-generation game set in the famous Middle-earth. An exciting story of revenge and redemption awaits you. Take on the role of ranger Talion, whose family was killed at the hands of Sauron's servants. Talion himself did not escape a cruel fate either, but the Spirit of Vengeance brought him back to life and endowed him with supernatural powers. Now the ranger who returned from the dead must journey into the depths of Mordor to fulfill his oath and destroy those who ruined his life. In time, he will discover the truth about what Spirit returned him to the world, learn about the Rings of Power and fight his enemy.

Every enemy the player encounters will be unique — with their own traits, strengths and weaknesses. Thanks to the Nemesis System mechanic, enemy relationships and their characteristics are determined depending on the player's actions and decisions. The dynamic world of “Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor” remembers you, reacts to your decisions and adapts to them. Here every player will experience their own — unique — adventure.

Game features:

• Learn to use ghostly powers and avenge your ruined life by fighting face-to-face in melee combat or hiding in the darkness and striking enemies from afar.
• Look at the world through spectral vision and find the weak spots of every unique enemy standing in Talion's way. Any opponent has their own weaknesses, habits and distinctive traits that you can notice and use to your advantage.
• Turn enemies against each other, forcing them to perform various actions, and thereby make Mordor obedient to your will. Every opponent is individual and can become your sworn enemy, depending on exactly what you do.
• Talion's story unfolds between the events of the “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” trilogies. You will learn where the Rings of Power came from and become the most dangerous warrior in Mordor.
• By developing strategy and making new sworn enemies, you will receive rewards according to the rune system, upgrade weapons, improve your abilities and skills.
