About the game:
Outlast is a first-person survival horror game created by veterans who worked on several of the greatest franchises in gaming history. Play as investigative journalist Miles Upshur, exploring Mount Massive Asylum: try to survive until you uncover the terrifying secret… if you dare.
Outlast is a true survival horror game showing that the most terrifying monsters are born from the human mind.
Horrors lurk in Mount Massive Asylum in the remote Colorado mountains. A long-abandoned asylum for the mentally ill has recently reopened through the efforts of the “research and charity” division of the international Murkoff corporation. The asylum operated in the strictest secrecy… until now.
Independent journalist Miles Upshur received an anonymous message, illegally entered the clinic, and discovered something terrifying on the border between science and religion, nature and something unknown. To leave the clinic alive, Miles will have to get to the truth and find out what is going on in Mount Massive.
Edition features
- True survival horror: you are not a fighter, so if you want to survive in the asylum, you will have to run or hide.
- Realistic AAA-quality graphics will immerse you in a detailed frightening world.
- You need to hide and sneak: the game is based on stealth, but also has parkour platforming elements.
- Unpredictable enemies: the player does not know when and from where one of the terrifying inhabitants of the asylum will jump out at them.
- True horror: the atmosphere and characters of Outlast are based on real asylums and mentally ill criminals.
