“Resident Evil 6” is a stunning mix of action and horror that promises to become the strongest work in the horror genre of 2013. Series favorites from “Resident Evil” Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong are joined by new heroes, including Jake Muller. They will have to face a new nightmare — the dangerous C-virus, as well as visit North America, the war-torn Eastern European country of Edonia, and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.
Three stories, initially having nothing in common, feature different pairs of main characters and are perfectly suited both for co-op play and solo play. Each campaign offers its own unique gameplay experience, in which you can share the horrors of what is happening with your partner. At key moments, up to four players can join forces and help each other, giving ordinary relationships previously unseen depth.

- Horror on a global scale — The infection is no longer tied to a single location. The C-virus has spread all over the world, which means you will have to visit completely different locations, such as North America, Eastern Europe, and China.
- Crossover gameplay — Campaigns intersect not only in words, but in action as well: at moments when the characters’ paths converge, a completely new crossover mechanic allows four players to interact with each other.
- Play solo or together with a friend — “Resident Evil 6” is suitable both for fans of solo play and those who love co-op play (Ada Wong's campaign is designed for one player only).
- “Agent Hunt” mode — In the new mode, you can experience the other side of the barricades. Become a hunter, take on the role of a zombie, J'avo, or another mutant and infiltrate someone else’s game to destroy the main characters. New dangers are already waiting for you — Fight back against zombies, J'avo, chrysalids, and other deadly creatures spawned by the C-virus.
- Play the way you want — Use skill points to improve your character’s abilities and teach them to reload faster, shoot more accurately, or endure more dangers by increasing health.
- New control system — “Resident Evil 6” offers improved controls, thanks to which you can now move and shoot simultaneously, slide, dodge, and take cover.
- The Mercenaries have returned — Players will once again be able to enjoy the highly popular “Mercenaries” mode.
- Mercenaries Requiem — A PC-only mode in which twice as many opponents as in “Mercenaries” mode will face you!
- 7 additional stages for modes with additional content — The PC version includes 7 additional stages that were sold separately for console versions.
