About the game:
Streets of Rogue is a lightweight roguelike about choice, freedom and unrestrained fun. The game was inspired by fast top-down roguelike games like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne, plus RPGs like Deus Ex with their freedom for experimentation and immersion into the game universe.
The action takes place not in a familiar dungeon, but in a living procedurally generated city, where complex AI controls characters from all walks of life who simply live their lives.
To move forward, the player will have to complete various tasks — in any way they want, using available skills, items and the environment.
- You can play as a soldier who shoots first and asks questions later.
- Or as a stealthy doctor who deals with opponents using chloroform and a tranquilizer gun.
- Or as a good-natured bartender who can talk down even the grumpiest guard.
- And what about a super-smart gorilla who frees its fellow gorillas from cages and builds a small army?
