At the turn of the millennium, the world of Tahnra stands still in anticipation of conflict. As a result of a long and bloody struggle for the throne of the Veridian Empire, the people have suffered greatly, forever retaining horrific memories of the civil war. During the reign of Empress Florina, this vicious cycle was broken and peace was established, until a rebellious general kidnapped her straight from the capital, gathering troops and raising a rebellion. You are a young academy graduate who must lead a punitive campaign. This clash will become the beginning of a chain of events that will shake the very foundations of the world.

Gameplay is focused on large-scale military operations. Your task is to outsmart and outmaneuver the enemy at the planning stage. The battles themselves take place automatically, and they are incredibly interesting to watch.
- Each of your squads can have up to 9 fighters. Move squads across the battlefield, take advantageous high ground, hold narrow corridors, set up forest ambushes, etc.
- Keep track of weather changes so that a sudden blizzard or heat does not catch you off guard.
- Liberate cities and capture resources to strengthen your reputation and maintain your army.
- Crush enemy morale while preserving your own.
- Eliminate the leaders of enemy squads to decapitate their army.
Tactics win skirmishes. Logistics win wars. When the dust after battle settles, it will be time to gather the wounded and regroup the survivors before the next battle on the path to peace in Tahnra.
