ABOUT THE GAME
Tails Noir is a narrative adventure about personal transformation in the post-noir genre. Step into the role of a raccoon private detective named Howard Lotor and set off to explore animal-populated Vancouver.
Tails Noir is inspired by noir films, weird fiction, post-Soviet aesthetics, modern political regimes, the works of Lynch and Kaufman, and Sartre's existential philosophy. This is a linear narrative story that pushes the boundaries of the genre and changes the idea of what it means to be human.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay of Tails Noir combines an emotion-evoking narrative with complex branching dialogues in the spirit of classic CRPGs and free exploration of the game world. The end of all things is inevitable, but it is up to you to decide which version of Howard Lotor reaches the ending.
In the role of Howard, you will have to:
• Build relationships with deeply developed characters in search of the truth
• Shape the hero's character and make decisions in dialogues – you determine for yourself who to be
• Explore the flourishing and abandoned districts of walled-off Vancouver
• Come to terms with your own existence and the pain of loss
• And, of course, be a real raccoon
