During your escapes, you will visit the freezing Fort Tundra, a train racing through the desert, and even outer space!
Create YOUR inmate!
It's time to make your inmate truly yours. Choose from a huge range of different traits to make your character unique. Looking stylish while preparing an escape plan is important.
Come to me, escape team!
Team up with 1–3 friends in the world's ultimate escape team and come up with crazy plans together! Play online or gather together on the couch to plot something nasty together. By joining forces, you can come up with even more complex and daring plans.
Want to compete? Quickly jump into versus mode and show that you know how to escape from prisons faster than your friends. And if that doesn't work either, you can always settle everything with a fight in the prison yard!
Plan your escape!
When in prison, you have to improvise and use everything at hand. You will have to combine everyday items such as soap and socks to create new weapons and tools that will help achieve your goal. Steal forks from the cafeteria to dig a tunnel in your cell, and make a poster from magazines and tape to hide it. As you will soon learn, tape solves (almost) all problems!
Be ready to fight!
The Escapists 2 adds a completely new combat system, making every fight more exciting and interactive. You will have to block hits and combine attacks into combos while moving around your chosen target to emerge victorious from battle. Don't forget to visit the gym first and build up your muscles!
New ways to escape!
The prisons have become stricter, which means you will have to think through your escape better! There are a thousand ways to manage an escape from almost any prison. Try, for example, mixing different medicines to appear dead, and then the morgue will help you!
Build your own prison!
The prison map editor has been released, which means it's your turn to build a prison worthy of the most hardened criminals! The editor contains all types of rooms, fences, and guard dogs needed to build a prison as strict as you can imagine. You won't need tape!
Find prison blueprints and start building them with your own hands in Prison Creation mode in the main menu. And when you build them, show them to the world through the Steam Workshop, where you can upload and subscribe to prisons by other architects: any of them can be played both solo and with other players online and locally!
