About the game:
Daedalic Entertainment, also known as “the Lucasarts of Germany” according to GameStar magazine, invites players to dive into a fantastic comedic adventure revolving around the incredible love story of Rufus and Goal.
Welcome to the giant garbage dump called Deponia! Among its huge number of inhabitants, there is one simple but very headstrong young man, Rufus, who simply cannot come to terms with his miserable fate. Like all the other poor people, he is doomed to spend the rest of his life, in the literal sense of the word, at the dump. More than anything in the world, he dreams of getting into the world of the rich, located in the heavenly city of Elysium right above the clouds. And one day luck smiles upon him: a mysterious girl named Goal falls on him straight from the sky. The young man decides to help the beautiful girl return to her husband. When Rufus realizes that he and her husband look alike as two peas in a pod, a devilish plan is born in his head on how to make his way into high society. Nevertheless, not everything goes so smoothly: Rufus cannot resist the beauty and charm of the beautiful lady and falls in love with her. Love does incredible things to him, changing our hero for the better right before our eyes.
Help Rufus, a poor young man from the dump, win the heart of the heavenly girl. Only with her help can he get out of Deponia and, unexpectedly for himself, save the planet.
