About the game:
MISER KING — is a dynamic pixel arcade platformer where your main goal is to climb higher and higher through the floors of an endless tower. On each level, you must find a key and reach the hatch at the very top, while collecting scattered gems and artifacts along the way. But be careful: dangerous monsters, sharp spikes on the floor, and traps suddenly falling from the ceiling block your path!
With each new floor, the game's difficulty increases, and the environment changes completely. 4 unique biomes await you, replacing one another: bright halls of a classic castle, gloomy dark dungeons, an industrial factory with working fans and flickering terminals, as well as toxic sewers.
To survive, you will have to demonstrate miracles of reaction and calculation. 8 different types of enemies patrol the levels, and direct collision with them takes away one of your attempts. However, sometimes life-saving bonuses appear on the floors: extra lives in the form of hearts and magic potions. After drinking a potion, the Miser King becomes invulnerable for a few seconds and can sweep enemies from his path, earning bonus points.
Controls in the game:
A / D or Left / Right Arrow Keys — character movement.
W / S or Up / Down Arrow Keys — climb ladders.
Space, W or Up Arrow Key — jump.
P — pause the game at any moment to catch your breath and assess the situation.
Esc — exit to the main menu.
