Not For Broadcast is a dark satirical game about chaos on live TV. You decide what appears on the TV screen, ignoring everyone else's opinion. Selfish "stars", lying politicians and strange sponsors collide with each other on television. Your task is to make sure the show does not get interrupted.
Switch between different cameras, change headlines and mute swear words seconds before all of this goes on air! Follow the party's instructions or inflate scandals — any means are good to keep the attention of capricious viewers.
Show spectacles and debates — entertain viewers with your editing skills. You are the artist, the broadcast is your canvas.
Watch the format — press the big red "CENSOR" button to mute swear words... or "unconfirmed" information. The news must be suitable for both children and repressive political regimes.
Control the news rundown — not all news can fit into the broadcast, so someone (that is, you) decides which stories will go on air. Tell about a famous footballer's new mistress or his passion for drinking? Decide for yourself, and this is only one of many dilemmas. It's just TV, right? You won't change the fate of an entire state…
Run advertisements — you command the TV broadcast, but you could be paid more. Some of the selected sponsors, despite their dubious reputation, will help replenish the bank account, while also entertaining viewers. Customer satisfaction is not guaranteed, and the paid amount is non-refundable.
The show must go on! — nothing, not even the end of the world, will prevent Tonight's News from going on air! Keep broadcasting, no matter how crazy the situation is. Nothing will stop the news, not even a Category Five hurricane!
