About the game:
Half-metal, half-human, killing machine
Turbo Overkill, inspired by masterpieces such as Doom and Quake by Id and Duke Nukem 3D by Apogee, with stunning cyberpunk graphics, is the most brutal first-person shooter ever released by Apogee. You play as Johnny Turbo, armed with hidden rockets and a chainsaw extending from the lower part of his leg, allowing you to slide and slice enemies apart.
In this hell, where “Blade Runner” and DOOM combine, Johnny returns to his hometown of Paradise and discovers that its entire population is possessed by Syn, a self-learning AI, and his army of augmented minions. Desperately needing money to hide from past mistakes, Johnny takes on an impossible task — to destroy the greatest AI ever created. Bounty hunters want to get the reward first. Nothing is simple in paradise. Turbo Time, wall running, dashes and grapples, oh my!
Turbo Overkill takes madness to previously unseen heights. Activate Turbo Time™ — a new form of slow motion with a twist. Build up incredible speed by wall running and dashing. Slide on your chainsaw leg, gutting enemies and opening bosses up for critical damage, and ride on the hoods of flying cars. Shoot with Twin Magnums, which lock on and instantly kill several enemies, the Boomer shotgun and its attached grenade launcher, or the Telefragger sniper rifle, which teleports Johnny inside an enemy before they explode from within.
Complete two dozen levels full of secrets, bonus arena levels and mind-bending combat puzzles. Find revolutionary collectibles to unlock punishing modifiers such as triple monster speed and instant kill. Combine all of Johnny's weapons and abilities to outsmart, outshoot and outrun the defiled legions.
In brief:

o Become a ghost runner by wall running
o Attack from above, controlling the hood of your flying car like a cool kung-futurist
o Mini-rockets built into your robotic arm? ✔
o This. List. Will. Grow. Add the game to your wishlist to see it
Don't quote us in nuthin'
“Turbo Overkill is a fast, furious and ferocious game — the embodiment of excess,” said Sam Prebble, one of the heads of Trigger Happy Interactive. “This is a game we always wanted to play; creating it is a dream project. Relentless enemies, incredibly deadly and exciting weapons, speed and precision above all — if you love Quake III Arena, modern and classic DOOM or legendary first-person shooters from Apogee, you will feel at home in Paradise.”
“As someone who helped create the shooter genre with Wolfenstein 3D, Rise of the Triad, Duke Nukem 3D, Max Payne and Prey, I have not been this excited about first-person shooters since the golden age of Apogee/3D Realms,” wrote founder Scott Miller. “Turbo Overkill is a sandbox full of exciting and original gameplay ideas that go together like an evening with melting hot pizza and your favorite cold, frothy drink. This game made me a Turbo fan again.”
