AI now analyzes ad campaign traffic via MCP

Meta MCP: a new tool for traffic arbitrage

The main technological trend of the season is the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows connecting AI directly to the database of your tracker or ad account. Instead of routine clicking through tabs, the buyer gets the opportunity to manage all statistics through a regular text chat with a neural network. You simply write to the neural network in plain human language: «Find campaigns where ROI dropped by more than 20%» or «Display the weakest buyers of the week in a table», and the AI will provide the ready data in a couple of seconds.

What is the MCP protocol and how it works

Model Context Protocol is a technical bridge between a large language model (for example, Claude or ChatGPT) and your working software. Previously, for a neural network to analyze campaigns, a webmaster had to copy tables manually or write complex scripts for the API of each individual service. The MCP protocol solves this problem by creating a single interface for data exchange.

Through the developer mode, the neural network connects to the tracker's admin panel (AdSet and similar platforms are often used in combination). The AI gains access to traffic logs, expenses, and conversions, but operates strictly in read-only mode, which eliminates the risk of accidentally breaking the settings.

What the combination can do in practice

Buyers use the technology for several key tasks:

  • Monitoring fraud and bot traffic. The prompt «Show ad campaigns or sub-accounts with abnormally low EPC or a large number of clicks without deposits» instantly highlights the platforms that need to be urgently blacklisted.

  • Controlling the burnout of combinations. The request «Compare ads between yesterday and today and find red flags» eliminates the need to manually check hundreds of rows of statistics.

  • Quick daily reports. Instead of spending hours collecting statistics manually, you can export the summary table for the required GEOs, combinations, apps, or installs in a couple of seconds.

Using MCP servers turns the neural network into a full-fledged technical director. The model doesn't just export dry numbers; it matches consumables with the revenue side, finds hidden patterns in logs, and suggests specific steps to optimize combinations.
