Meta rolled out a set of updates for paid Meta One accounts. The platform is adding new tools for quickly growing an audience and working with incoming traffic. The updates are aimed at bloggers, affiliate marketers with professional profiles and business pages.
What Was Added for Paid Profiles
The following features have appeared in the subscription settings:
-
Invites for activity. You can enable automatic subscription invitations for everyone who likes or comments on posts.
-
Large «Follow» button in Reels. In short videos for Facebook Professional Profiles, the follow button was made visually larger to increase the conversion from views to clicks.
-
Up to three locations in the header. Up to three locations or target GEOs can now be specified in the profile description.
-
External links. Some restrictions on adding links to third-party websites and bridge pages directly in the profile have been removed.
-
AI autoresponder in Messenger. Access to AI-based automatic replies for processing incoming messages has been expanded.
What This Provides in Practice
The main new option — is native auto-invites. This feature has long been used on Facebook and LinkedIn to follow up with the audience: a person likes or comments on a post, and the software or platform immediately sends them an invitation to follow the page. This option is now built natively into the subscription, without the need to connect third-party services and risk being banned for automation.
At the same time, Meta is tying advanced features to the subscription: extended automatic replies in Messenger, additional links in the profile and multiple locations are now available only on paid accounts. For those working with traffic arbitrage and doorways on FB, the subscription is effectively becoming another essential expense.
