STORY
“Ladies and gentlemen! Come in, come in! Ready to hear a story, aren't you?”
Abby is an artist imprisoned in a circus. During the day she entertains the audience, and spends her nights in a cage, longing for freedom. One day she escapes from the circus and enters a mystical world.
But freedom comes at a price, and Abby soon finds herself drawn into the dangers that are possible in this world. In a war-torn medieval fairy tale, Abby, surrounded by ravaged and starving inhabitants and pursued by the relentless thug Tonda, is forced to cross raging rivers, make her way through bandit camps and bypass traps.
Her adventures are accompanied by the lyrical verses of the puppeteer Jack, who tells the story while firmly holding the puppet strings in his caring hands.
Who can Abby trust? Will she be able to find a way to truly free herself? Although Abby dangles on strings, will she be able to understand that she can still influence her fate?
“Abby, Abby... Can't you see that the strings that support you also restrain you”.
