About the game:
A new era of “shoot-and-loot” is coming! Together with three Vault Hunters, come face to face with an entire world of creatures, psychos, and an evil genius — Handsome Jack. Make friends, equip them with guns from a gigantic arsenal, and set off with your companions to fight side by side in search of revenge and redemption in the still unexplored lands of Pandora.
Key features:
New faces: our heroes are now the Siren, Commando, Gunzerker and Assassin. Try out a fighter of a new class called the “Gunzerker” (Gunzerker). This short big guy is so strong that he can easily handle any two guns at once. Want to shower the enemy with lead from a pair of heavy machine guns? No problem! Or maybe you prefer two grenade launchers? Easily! Two sniper rifles? Not a question at all! Your tactics plus the Gunzerker’s firepower — and the enemy has no chance of survival!
Dynamic network and online play: have fun with friends by joining a team over the Internet or via a local network. Join and leave the campaign at any time; this will not prevent your comrades from continuing the adventure — no game restart will be required. What is more, you will be able to use all acquired equipment in every new game!
Quite a story: this time, your stay in the world of Borderlands will begin with you finding yourself left for dead in the middle of an icy tundra. You will have to find out who treated you so cruelly and why, track down the offender and, of course, give them what for. You will have to explore the holdings of the “Hyperion” corporation and confront a villain of universal scale — its director, known by the nickname Handsome Jack. (And yes, he is the one who stole the money for opening the Vault.)
An endless multitude of… everything: a unique system for creating game items is an inexhaustible source of not only the most fantastic weapons, but also other equipment, including shields, grenades, alien artifacts… And who knows what else! And do not forget about tons of all kinds of goodies from the original Borderlands!
To distant lands: go on an expedition through unexplored areas of Pandora, which will surprise you with a variety of landscapes and scenery. Frosty tundra, green danger-filled meadows, and mysterious underground caves await you.
Interesting encounters: and how many previously unseen inhabitants of Pandora are eagerly awaiting a meeting with you! Huge gorilla-like Bullymongs (Bullymongs), ruthless predatory Stalkers (Stalkers), and an entire army of Hyperion mechs led by Handsome Jack — are only a small fraction of all the unimaginable horrors you will have no chance of avoiding. But you would not want to! Guns at the ready!
