Reject — is the rejection of an application, lead, creative, or another action by an advertising platform, affiliate program, or advertiser.
For example, a user clicked an ad and submitted an application, but the advertiser did not accept it. Such a lead receives the Reject status and is not paid.
Where reject is used
-
In affiliate programs — an advertiser may reject a lead if it does not meet the offer conditions: the user provided incorrect data, was already registered, failed verification, or violated other requirements.
-
In advertising — a platform may reject an ad or creative for violating moderation rules.
-
Payouts — an affiliate program may reject a conversion if it detects a violation of the offer conditions or signs of fraud.
Important: a high reject rate for leads may indicate problems with traffic quality. If many conversions are rejected, it is worth checking the traffic source, campaign settings, and whether the audience matches the offer conditions.
