BUILD A BASE
Your task is to build a two-way wormhole to return to Earth. This is a very complex invention requiring enormous energy costs. Simple solar batteries and a couple of tons of steel will not be enough here. To cope with this task, you will have to build a complex chain of mines, oil wells, power plants and research facilities.
DEFEND YOURSELF
Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. When you begin developing infrastructure and disrupting the natural order of things, the world will see you as a threat. Prepare for defense. Build walls, barriers and defense towers, because attacks grow stronger every day. You will face thousands of hostile creatures that will try to get rid of you.
DISCOVER
Galatea-37 is an unexplored planet in the Sycorax Belt of the Milky Way galaxy. Remote observations showed that it is uninhabited and ideally suited for colonization. The planet is rich in rare minerals and elements, whose deposits are scattered across its entire surface. Various biomes will surprise you with unknown fauna and flora, as well as harsh weather conditions. You will be able to build outposts in locations with natural resources and transport them using wormhole technology.
CAMPAIGN
You play as Captain Ashley Novak – you are a Riftbreaker, an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful mech-suit. Pass through a one-way portal to Galatea-37, a distant planet on the edge of the Milky Way, to build a base that will allow returning to Earth, as well as begin colonization. Ashley's mech-suit, which she nicknamed “Mr. Riggs”, can withstand the most difficult external conditions and is equipped with all the tools for base construction, resource extraction, sample collection and, of course, combat. It is adapted for travel through wormholes connecting distant points in space.
Embark on an epic adventure through the biomes of Galatea 37. Build bases in different corners of the planet and extract resources. Study alien matter and life forms. Repel attacks by alien creatures that are clearly not thrilled that you have invaded their territory. In this many-hour campaign with incredible freedom of action and a randomly generated world, you set priorities yourself and decide which technologies to use. After all, you are the only human on this planet.
SURVIVAL
Your mission is to survive for a certain amount of time while repelling increasingly deadly waves of alien creatures. Each mission is generated randomly, making this mode incredibly replayable.
CAREFULLY CRAFTED SINGLE-PLAYER AND CO-OP MODES
The Riftbreaker can be played alone or with up to 4 friends in co-op mode. All game modes and missions are balanced for comfortable play in both single-player and multiplayer formats. The game has a built-in server browser and dedicated server mode. Network play via a local network without an internet connection is available.
SANDBOX
If intense struggle for survival is not to your liking, try the “Sandbox” mode, in which you can customize the smallest details of the game, including resources, enemy generation and weather conditions.
CUSTOMIZE THE GAMEPLAY FOR YOURSELF
The Riftbreaker™ gameplay can be customized according to your preferences. Change the frequency of enemy attacks, the strength and number of enemies, resource generation, natural disasters, enemy damage and much more. In addition, the game has several difficulty levels, so everyone – from strategy veterans to lovers of unhurried base development – will find a mode to their taste.
