Meta Adds AI Assistant for FB Creators

Meta Rolls Out AI Assistant for Facebook Creators and Smart Reels Translation

On June 4, 2026, Meta announced the launch of a built-in AI assistant for Facebook content creators. Bloggers can now analyze their performance metrics through a regular chat directly within the platform. The neural network delivers personalized recommendations based on the creator's unique style, audience engagement, and overall reach. Operating as a dialogue, the assistant allows users to ask directly about the best times to publish a post or which topics are trending most in the comments section.

The AI assistant can also ask clarifying questions to help creators better understand their follower growth dynamics. Beyond dry analytics, the AI can generate ideas for new publications based on current trends. The tool can suggest using a viral audio track or focusing on a major event to boost views. For now, the update is rolling out gradually — access has opened for the US, Canada, and India, but Meta promises to expand the AI assistant to all countries later.

With this update, Meta aims to keep creators within its ecosystem and prevent them from migrating to other platforms. The built-in AI assistant eliminates the need to use third-party tools for brainstorming and analytics. The smoother and easier the workflow is for bloggers inside the app, the more frequently they publish content, which drives up overall Facebook user engagement.

Alongside the AI assistant, Meta updated its AI video translation technology, adding support for Arabic, Indonesian, French, Thai, and Vietnamese. The neural network automatically translates Reels while preserving the creator's original tone and voice. According to Meta, over half a billion users already watch AI-translated videos every week.
