Anti-detect browser

Anti-detect browser (antidetect) — is a special browser that allows you to create separate browser profiles with different digital fingerprints. For websites and advertising platforms, each such profile looks like a separate device with its own settings, history, and browser characteristics.

Why an Anti-detect Browser Is Needed

A regular proxy is not enough to work with multiple accounts. A proxy only changes the IP address, while websites also analyze dozens of other parameters: operating system, screen resolution, browser language, time zone, graphics card, installed fonts, and much more. Together, all of this forms a browser’s digital fingerprint.

An anti-detect browser helps separate this data between different profiles. As a result, each account works in its own isolated environment and looks like a separate user. For maximum effectiveness, anti-detect browsers are usually used together with proxies.

How an Anti-detect Browser Works

Any number of separate profiles can be created inside an anti-detect browser. Each profile stores its own cookies, cache, browsing history, extensions, and other browser data. They do not overlap with each other, so logging into one account does not affect the others.

When creating a profile, the browser selects or generates digital fingerprint parameters and then uses them when working with websites. As a result, multiple accounts running on one computer look as if they are operating from different devices.

Important to Know

An anti-detect browser does not hide the IP address or replace a proxy. If several profiles are opened without proxies, the platforms will still see that the connection is coming from the same IP. That is why in traffic arbitrage, an anti-detect browser and proxies are almost always used together.
