Mobile Proxies

Mobile proxies — are proxies that use IP addresses from mobile carriers. When connecting through such a proxy, the website sees the mobile network IP rather than the user’s real IP.

Why Mobile Proxies Are Chosen

The main advantage of mobile proxies — is their high level of trust from anti-fraud systems. Mobile carriers regularly change their subscribers’ IP addresses, and this is normal for websites: hundreds of people use the same IP at the same time. Therefore, mobile IPs are less likely to raise suspicion and are better suited for working with advertising accounts, account farming, and other tasks where IP reputation plays an important role.

IP Rotation

Another important feature of mobile proxies — is IP address rotation. The IP can change automatically after a certain period or at the user’s request. After the address changes, there is no need to buy a new proxy — the work continues through the same proxy but with a different IP.

Types of Mobile Proxies

Mobile proxies can be private (Dedicated) or shared (Shared).

  • A private proxy is used by only one person. This option is usually chosen for working with advertising accounts and other tasks where stability and full control over the proxy are important.

  • A shared proxy is used by several users at the same time. It costs less than a private proxy and is more often suitable for tasks where a separate proxy for each user is not required.

Important to Know

The main disadvantage of mobile proxies — is their high cost. In addition, the connection speed is usually lower than with datacenter proxies, and the quality of performance depends on the mobile carrier and signal strength.
