Google created Googlebook AI laptops

Googlebook vs MacBook: Search Giant Enters Premium PC Market in Fall 2026

Google is entering the laptop market with a fundamentally new Googlebook ecosystem, designed to crush budget Windows laptops and become a full-fledged MacBook alternative for Android fans. Unlike the old cloud-based Chromebooks, these devices will feature a premium build from market leaders (Asus, Dell, Lenovo, HP, Acer) and a complete desktop operating system, Aluminium OS, built on top of Android.

The standout feature of these devices will be the complete integration of the Gemini neural network at the system level. Developers have even embedded the AI assistant into the mouse cursor: shaking it on the screen allows the agent to instantly read the context and provide suggestions—from auto-filling a calendar to generating interactive widgets right on the desktop using a standard text prompt. Thanks to a unified operating system, the laptop will offer seamless cross-device synchronization with smartphones, allowing users to run any mobile apps and instantly transfer active work sessions from a phone to the big screen.

The lineup is scheduled for release this fall. The final pricing is still being kept under wraps, but if Google can keep the price around the $500–$700 mark, this new release stands every chance of completely reshaping the portable PC segment.
