Trust (trusted account)

Trust — is the platform’s level of trust in an account. It determines how suspicious the user’s activity appears to the system and how often the account may face additional checks or restrictions.

The user usually cannot see the trust indicator itself. It is not a rating or number in the account settings. In traffic arbitrage, the term is used conditionally: if an account operates for a long time without problems and passes checks normally, it is called more trusted.

What Account Trust Depends On

The platform’s trust may be affected by different factors:

  • account age;

  • its usage history;

  • profile completeness;

  • IP address and device stability;

  • payment method history and reliability;

  • sudden geolocation changes;

  • previous blocks and restrictions;

  • the nature of actions in the account;

  • advertising activity history.

Each platform has its own verification algorithms, so there is no exact list of factors or their importance.

Trust in Traffic Arbitrage

Affiliate marketers try not to overload a new account immediately after registration. It may be left for aging and then gradually warmed up: gradually filling out the profile, using it normally and only then moving on to launching ads.

Accounts with a history and proper warm-up are usually valued more highly than newly created ones. It does not matter whether the profile was registered manually or automatically. An autoreg can also undergo farming and build trust over time.

At the same time, high trust does not guarantee protection from being blocked. Even a long-used account may receive restrictions if the platform notices suspicious actions or a violation of the rules.

Important to Know

Trust cannot be increased with a single setting. It is affected by the account’s history and how it was used before.

For the same reason, it is impossible to accurately check an account’s trust before purchasing. It is usually assessed indirectly: by looking at the age, history, existing restrictions, completed checks and other data that the seller can provide.
